Our robot consists of an Arduino micro controller with wireless Bluetooth connectivity and four servo motors. The micro-controller, as well as each servo is powered from a 5V battery and to complete the electrical circuit they all need a connection to +5V and ‘ground’ (GND). Additionally, each servo has an ‘input signal’ that connects to an ‘output port’ on the micro controller.

Students will learn how to read a ‘wiring diagram’ to know which wire to connect where and learn how to use simple tools to cut, strip, tin and solder wires.
